I am up and running!
Hello! With a title like that you may think I've taken up jogging, but sadly that would be incorrect. I mentioned in a previous post about opening an Etsy store and some exciting news...so here it is...my Etsy store is now stocked with some stocking stuffers and small gifts. I sold 6 items total within hours of listing them and 1 item sold out completely. Here is the exciting part, I am going to be featured in a article about my crafting and the items I am selling, yay me! I will post the article as soon as it's available to me. So, my people, check out my newly stocked Etsy store (there is a link on upper left of this blog)! Thanks for everyone supporting me through this process, especially my family!

AHHHHH, The Holidays!
Well, the count down has begun! It's time to dust off those Christmas cards we bought at the end of season sale for 75% off and get them ready for the Post Office. Yes, I mail my Christmas cards the week of Thanksgiving, I know it's nuts...but Christmas seems to never last long enough. I know Christmas starts in the retail world in July, but who in there right mind is thinking of Christmas then? I believe there are a few holidays before then, am I right? You spend months shopping, cooking, decorating and for what, poof, it's over after the last present is opened and children saying, " Is that it?" I know that is a terrible viewpoint, since I was brought up Catholic, but that is today's reality...more, more, more!
As you may know, for those who follow my blog, I am not only a wife, mother, dog momma, I am a papercrafter by trade. I am now working on my Christmas crafting. If you have noticed I added a Etsy link to my blog, but have not followed thru on listing anything, well that is all about to change. I have had lots of interest on my craft items, so now my work has begun. I hope you will enjoy what you see and stay tuned for some exciting news & updates. Stay crafty!

Happy Halloween!
Hello Crafters! Just so ya know, I did not drop off the face of the earth. My life has been crazy lately and I make no excuses for being a bad blogger. I hope everyone is doing well. My family is enjoying our favorite time of year, Halloween, of course! My Mom was in town last weekend. We enjoyed her visit by shopping, movies, eating and going to a local farm. At the farm we did an animal tour, went through a Twilight corn maze and picked pumpkins from a patch. It was fun, we got to pet & hold several animals and milk a real cow, that was neat.We are having more company over this weekend. We plan on getting out the rest of our scare tactics, carve some pumpkins and make some homemade pumpkin pie ice cream. Yummo! I have been crafting and involved with some swaps. Also, I have been getting treat bags ready for "E's" class Halloween parade, gathering stuff for her costume, Hanna Montana, of course and working on a pumpkin pal project for "E". I am posting some pics of my recent swaps and projects. I did an image swap too, but forgot to take some pictures. You may have noticed I have added a flicker gallery to my blog. Check it out! Well, I must be shoving off, got to do some errands. I hope everyone has a safe and spooky Halloween!

I'm Baaaaack!
I know your like, I thought you said your not going to neglect your blog in your last post. And you would be right, my bad! I did do a couple videos on my craftroom while I was blogging MIA, so check them out on youtube (cyberblond9404).
Anywho...I got my back injection and doing way better. I have been doing a lot of crafting and cooking. My hubby and I got a new/used motorcycle named "Candy", she's red and so sweet looking. I also set up an Etsy store for my handcrafty stuff. I added a link to my new store, so check me out later this week. I will be adding stuff weekly during the holiday season. Did ya notice my blog name changed? It matches my Etsy store name. Well, that's all for now...I'm gonna go craft and list some stuff on Etsy. Have a great fall weekend!

A little about me!
Good evening! I'm sorry I've been MIA for the last 8 days. I am getting my kids ready to go back to school, yay! My youngest, E, has is turning 6 on the 16th. So I am preparing for that day and she is so hard to buy for. I revamped my craft room. I also had my 9 year wedding anniversary. And lastly, I am nursing my back till I can go to my Dr and schedule my SI injection. With that being said, I've been a little busy. And the next couple weeks don't get any better. I will try to keep up the blog, but I make no promises, LOL!
Here's some humor for you. While having a dinner of hot wings and fries from a local restaurant with my family tonight, "E" says to me, "This is a fossil, because bones are fossils, Mom" as she shakes a chicken bone at me. When did kindergarten graduates get so smart? The only thing I remember learning in Kindergarten is circle, snack and nap time. I look at my oldest, "A" and she never learned things like that. They weren't even teaching reading or math back then, but my "E" learned these things in kindergarten. I wonder if we are pushing or rushing our children too much and not letting them be kids. God knows that we are adults for far too long and not long enough being a kid.

Does this happen to anyone else?
In today's economy we all know cash is king and we need to watch our money. I remember watching my Mother clip coupons, only buying what was on her list and a food budget of $75.00 weekly. My Mom is a saver and thrifty by nature. I, however, am not a saver, but I am very cheap when it comes to needs. I am not cheap when it comes to wants, that is a work in progress, sorry Mom! I try real hard at using coupons, I subscribe to the newspaper and clip them (occasionally). I bought a entertainment book. I am a subscriber to websites for tips on money savers. I collect mailed circulars and coupons. With that be said....I took my oldest, "A", to Target to pickup some things for school. Do you think I took the time to rifle thru my vast stack of coupons? No, I didn't think there was a need to for the things I was buying. Besides, I got almost everything on sale. So this morning, as I battle my stacks of circulars to ready myself for the 2 hour trip to the grocery store (I could shave 45 minutes off my time if I didn't have those darn coupons!) which by chance did save me over $75.00 this week-yay me! I find 2-$1.00 coupons on 2 of the things I bought and another $5.00 coupon, if you spent $50.00, ugh! I am lucky, Target is very good about adjusting my receipts for forgotten coupons. (I know this because this very thing has happened a few times before, sigh!) So, I ask in a very wordy way...does this happen to anyone else? Thanks for hanging in while I tried to get to the explanation of my original question. Have a nice relaxing Sunday, if you can!

Conversations with E.....
Today while driving my youngest daughter E, ( She will be 6 in two weeks) home from Summer Success Day Camp we had this conversation:
E: Mom, I want us to move.
Me: Why?
E: I'm tired of our house.
Me: We've only lived in it for 2 years.
E: So...I want a "Flat House".
Me: A "Flat House"?
E: Like that one. (Pointing to a one-story house.)
Me: Why? What's wrong with our house, it's bigger?!
E: I'm tired of all those stairs going to my room and the bathroom.
Me: But, we have a downstairs bathroom.
E: We used to have a "Flat House". I want to move back.
Me: We can't move back to our old "Flat House" someone else lives there. We live in another state now, because of Daddy's job.
E: No fair, I still want a "Flat House", said with a pout.
I never knew that there were "Flat Houses". Maybe the next time we move, I'll call the Realtor and request only "Flat Houses". I'd love to see look on that persons face...priceless.
